What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Practice the Patients First philosophy and uphold high customer service standards
- Respond to patient inquiries and direct extraordinary issues to the appropriate team members
- Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
- Collect and verify patient demographic information and schedule appointments effectively
- Participate in quality assurance reviews to ensure the integrity of patient data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer data entry and typing with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
- Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional education or language skills
- Experience in healthcare finance and/or healthcare insurance
- Knowledge and experience in patient scheduling and registration within a healthcare setting
