What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Consistently practice a Patients First philosophy and uphold high standards of customer service
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive first impression
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Schedule and direct patients through the healthcare system, providing exceptional service
- Participate in quality assurance reviews to ensure the integrity of patient data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of customer service or medical office experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer data entry and basic computer skills
- Ability to type 40 words per minute and multitask effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional education or language skills
- Experience in healthcare finance and/or healthcare insurance
- Knowledge and experience in patient scheduling and/or registration within a healthcare setting
