What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to a high volume of appointment requests through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and electronic messages
- Schedule appropriate medical exams, procedures, and tests while collecting demographic and insurance information
- Serve as an escalation point for questions from Specialists I and II regarding complex scheduling requests
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and phone etiquette during interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of medical office or call center experience
- Strong computer skills relevant to the department's requirements
- Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills
- Accurate data entry skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications related to medical office administration
- Bilingual skills in English and another language
