What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to the Patient Access team
- Conduct team staffing, coaching, annual reviews, and performance improvement plans
- Assist with workload tasks such as benefit verification and prior authorizations
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex customer issues
- Complete managerial tasks including hiring, training, and performance management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of acute home infusion therapy experience
- Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 3 years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement guidelines
- Previous medical and pharmacy benefit experience is required
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in analyzing referral trends and specialty product shortages
- Familiarity with interpreting payor contract fee schedules
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting
