What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage all aspects of patient billing and collection processing in compliance with departmental policies and procedures
- Perform payment posting, cash reconciliation, refund/credit processing, and insurance follow-up
- Provide customer service in a call center setting, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Handle self-pay collections and claim submissions
- Ensure accurate processing of patient demographic and insurance information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a contact center or similar role in a healthcare environment
- Proficient in PC usage with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple service lines and revenue cycle functions
- Achieve or exceed annual performance evaluation standards with no corrective action in the past 12 months
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in multiple revenue cycle functions or working in different sites within healthcare
- Strong track record of customer service excellence in a healthcare setting
