What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide outreach to patients recently discharged from the hospital to assess needs and prepare for clinical assessments
- Assist patients with inquiries and connect them with specialty teams as needed
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure effective resolution
- Coordinate care for patients, including scheduling doctor’s appointments
- Participate in performance and process improvement activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the healthcare or medical industry as a Medical Assistant
- Ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications effectively
- Intermediate keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM) and data entry while actively listening
- Basic proficiency with PC and search engine use
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment
- Empathy and patience when dealing with difficult callers or complex requests
- Proven ability to meet/exceed individual performance goals in a call center setting
