Patient Care Technician PATH Details

Essential Job Duties:

• Collaborate with RN staff to assess patients' needs and report concerns.
• Assist in developing and modifying care plans, prioritizing patient problems, and performing medical tasks.
• Provide patient education, follow policies, respond to emergencies, and act as a patient advocate while respecting rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluate interventions, maintain professionalism, and seek assistance when needed.

Program details:

• Will be directly hired to a specific unit.
• Required to attend a paid 3-week training program.
• Classes will occur Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
• Upon completion of the program, you will transition to 12-hour shifts.
• Must be certified in healthcare provider BLS upon hire.
