What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and resolve high volumes of accounts for services provided by the employer
- Act as the primary contact for patients to discuss outstanding statements and inquiries
- Provide efficient support for insurance, coding, registration, financial assistance, and billing issues
- Perform routine account analysis and develop action plans with patients for resolving financial responsibilities
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and payment plans, including telephone contact and written communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience handling cash payments and self-pay collections
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of office equipment, including computers, software applications, printers, and billing programs
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or collections
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service, call center, and/or collections environment
