What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and resolve high volumes of accounts for services provided by the employer
- Act as the primary contact for patients to discuss outstanding statements and resolve inquiries
- Provide support for insurance, coding, registration, financial assistance, and billing-related issues
- Perform routine account analysis and develop action plans for resolving financial responsibilities
- Handle incoming patient mail and respond to inquiries as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in Call Center, Collections, Billing, and/or Healthcare
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash payments and self-pay collections
- Proficient in utilizing office equipment and software applications
- No educational requirement specified
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in financial assistance or patient account management
- Familiarity with automated phone technology for patient communication
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of billing programs and healthcare insurance processes
