What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and facilitate patient placement from external referring sites and internal departments
- Assign patients to appropriate beds based on established guidelines
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely admissions and discharges
- Conduct documentation and follow-up communication in electronic medical records
- Monitor bed availability and coordinate information regarding admissions and transfers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's or Vocational degree
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the healthcare field, including familiarity with medical terminology
- 2 to 5 years of computer skills experience
- Ability to perform sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 to 5 years of experience with Epic / Excellian electronic medical record systems
