What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
- Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals
- Secure patients' upfront payments and assist in identifying financial assistance opportunities
- Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims and manage denial issues through follow-ups
- Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in a related field
- Ability to multitask and support numerous referrals and priorities simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous healthcare or medical billing experience
