What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Greet and direct patients to their correct destinations both in person and over the phone
- Schedule patient appointments and contact patients for rescheduling and reminders
- Complete patient admission and registration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Verify patient benefits and eligibility, and handle co-pays and billing inquiries
- Act as a liaison between patients, guests, back office staff, and providers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- One year of office or customer service experience, or equivalent
- Current, valid Utah driver's license at the time of hire may be required in some areas
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient information confidentiality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare setting or with patient interaction
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical record systems or check-in kiosks
- Ability to navigate a facility with multiple providers and services
