      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Identify and review potential quality issues, patient safety events, and sentinel events by applying best practice standards of care
      - Conduct timely reviews of electronic medical records to meet established standards
      - Perform investigations including research, analysis, and preparation of case summaries with recommendations
      - Conduct detailed root cause analysis for sentinel and serious reportable events
      - Collaborate with Medical Directors on complex care issues and present cases at quality management committees

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - RN with a current, active license in the state of practice
      - Minimum of 3 years of clinical medical/surgical acute care experience
      - Minimum of 3 years of clinical acute behavioral health/psychiatric experience
      - Proven ability to investigate, analyze, synthesize, and formulate conclusions
      - Strong organizational skills in managing quality data for reporting

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
      - Quality experience within a managed care company
      - General knowledge of Medicare, VA, TRICARE, or other government healthcare programs
      - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
      - Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
