What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Patient identification, registration, and scheduling
- Support Population Management and Chronic Disease Management initiatives
- Coordinate scheduling of services for patients
- Handle incoming calls, follow-up, and referral work queues
- Enter data accurately into the electronic health record system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1 year of clinical healthcare experience, Patient Scheduler I experience, or contact/call center experience
- Completion of Healthcare Business Insight's Patient Access Certification Program within six months of hire date
- Must complete designated HBI Courses within one year of hire
- Proficient in scheduling multiple service lines in a high-call volume environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience as a Patient Scheduler or in a healthcare-related role
