What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide clerical and patient care support under the supervision of the Clinical Services Manager and RN
- Assist with processing medical records for patient admissions and discharges
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding patient care and needs
- Support patients with direct care, including grooming, hygiene, and mobility assistance
- Accurately document patient care tasks, vital signs, and other relevant information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent formal education
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the healthcare field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Successful completion of UAMS Patient Care Technician (PCT) and Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) courses
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to Guest Care guidelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a behavioral health setting
- Familiarity with patient care documentation and electronic health records
- Ability to demonstrate conflict management skills
- Certification in CPR or First Aid
- Knowledge of medical terminology
