- Communicates with providers, medical office staff, insurance carriers and licensing agencies to provide status information and complete health plan enrollment, government applications, credentialing, and re-credentialing applications
- Create health plan provider rosters and clinic reports including reviewing for accuracy and submitting electronically monthly by the deadline
- Prepare verification letters and maintains database and provider profiling system(s)
- Answers questions regarding contracting process, policies, procedures, administrative rules and fee schedules
- Analyze and calculate fee schedules for various state and federal and insurance contracts
- Troubleshoots reimbursement issues and claim processing errors
- Maintain and administer website for physical therapy provider network
- Maintains database of all contracts and specific applications sent to prospective new providers and clinics
- Researches enrollment and disenrollment problems for providers with various insurance carriers and government entities
- Assist with ongoing monitoring of compliance requirements for the physical therapy provider network
- Tracks project and application action items and deliverables and follows up with providers as necessary
- Forwards requested information/documentation to prospective providers in a timely manner
- Coordinates/documents workflow between providers, office staff, and other internal departments
- Processes provider applications and re-applications; including reviewing mailings for accuracy and generating the initial mailings
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry
- Must reside in Idaho, Oregon or Washington
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Therapeutic Associates - Oregon Regional Office is seeking a full-time Payer and Provider Relations Assistant. This is remote position (Oregon residents preferred). This role serves as a key support for a coalition of physical therapy clinics across three states by managing multiple aspects of the provider application process and troubleshooting provider contract and application issues. A large component of this position entails providing general clerical assistance and customer service to a physical therapy provider network and TAI's central billing office staff.
The administrative duties of this position include ensuring that provider contracts and government applications are accurately completed with all necessary information and submitted or refiled in timely manner to government entities, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, managed care organizations and ancillary providers and necessary information is obtained from these same agencies to resolve contract issues.
