      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as the expert on National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) standards within the payer EDI business product team
      - Contribute to the development of VHA Payer EDI NCPDP standards through active participation in integrated project teams
      - Provide insights and guidance to project staff on specific NCPDP technical and functional issues related to pharmacy standards
      - Act as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and document exchange
      - Assist in the implementation of automation solutions to manage health benefits operations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in healthcare data exchange processes
      - Expertise in National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) standards and their application in healthcare data exchange
      - Strong understanding of payer EDI business processes
      - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
      - Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical information

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Significant prior experience in healthcare data exchange processes
      - Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
      - Experience working with integrated project teams in a healthcare setting
