What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate and support the payer enrollment process by managing applications for new providers and changes
- Complete payer revalidations for providers and entities on a payer-specific schedule
- Maintain and manage payer portal access for providers and entities
- Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle department to address claim denials and inquiries related to enrollment
- Communicate with payer representatives to resolve concerns and discrepancies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in payer enrollment strongly preferred; 10+ years of credentialing/enrollment and/or revenue cycle management experience may substitute for a degree
- Working knowledge of credentialing and enrollment software, ideally Verity Credential Stream
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to payer enrollment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong communication skills across various organizational levels
