What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data using an automated system to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Maintain knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws and ensure compliance
- Assist managers and employees with understanding payroll procedures and resolving discrepancies
- Support HR-related projects and provide recommendations on systems and processes
- Participate in audits and maintain confidentiality at all times
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience with payroll systems and related software programs
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of government regulations related to payroll and company operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Workday, ADP Smart Compliance, or other HRIS/Payroll systems
- Ability to interface with cross-functional teams at all organizational levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Willingness to travel as needed
