Job Description

- Review, balance, validate and fully reconcile employee time and attendance data between timekeeping systems (QGenda and Workday).
- Maintain QGenda timekeeping system configurations, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with IT or vendors for system updates or enhancements.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, IT, department managers, and payroll staff to resolve discrepancies or issues in time records.
- Generate and analyze timekeeping reports to support payroll department and compliance audits.
- Train employees and supervisors on timekeeping procedures and system usage.
- Support payroll processing cycles by providing validated time data and assisting with special payroll runs as needed.
- Document and update timekeeping policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations related to payroll, including working with internal tax department
- Other special projects, as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, or HRIS systems.
- Proficiency with timekeeping and payroll software (e.g., Workday, Kronos, ADP, SAP, Oracle).
- Experience with automated scheduling systems.
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Experience with QGenda scheduling system preferred
- Certification such as FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred.
