    • Process Payroll, Benefits, and Related Reports
      Accurately process payroll for certified and classified school staff in compliance with district policies and state/federal regulations. Administer benefit deductions and ensure timely submission of required payroll reports.

    • Maintain Accurate Records and Audit Trails
      Ensure all financial and employee records are up-to-date, well-organized, and audit-ready. Track payroll transactions, benefits changes, and other personnel actions with detailed documentation to support financial transparency and accountability.

    • Support HR with Employment Records
      Collaborate with the Human Resources department to maintain accurate employee files, including new hire paperwork, salary placement, leave documentation, and separation records. Ensure continuity between payroll and HR systems.

    • Assist Visitors and Respond to Inquiries
      Serve as a welcoming point of contact for staff and visitors. Address routine payroll and benefits questions with professionalism or route inquiries to the appropriate personnel as needed.

    • Perform Data Entry, Mail Distribution, and General Office Duties
      Enter and update employee information in financial systems with attention to accuracy. Distribute incoming and outgoing mail, prepare copies, and support day-to-day office functions to ensure smooth department operations.

    • Experience in payroll processing and data management

    • Solid understanding of payroll and employee benefits

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills

    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments
