- Manage global process taxonomy initiatives working with Payroll Managers and Cluster Leads
- Advise senior management regarding payroll process taxonomy for assigned payroll clusters/countries
- Research and responds promptly to inquiries and issues partnering with HR Compensation, /Benefits Process Owners and Citi business
- Manage the documentation of policies and procedures i.e., Global Payroll SOP, Process Control Manuals (PCMs) aligned with 21 Global Payroll Controls and 9 Payroll Standards
- Assess and monitor reasonableness of key performance indicators and identifies strategic improvement opportunities
- Perform analysis and resolve complex issues. Reviewing Incident Reports (IRs) to determine root cause and identify control design gaps
- Manage and/or deliver on assigned projects and Global Process Taxonomy team deliverables
- Provide training sessions on global payroll processes to payroll staff and managers
- Serve as owner or GPS Leadership representative on project/meeting calls
- Partner with Payroll Operations, Payroll Accounting and Payroll Tax, to identify issues and required business specifications
- Drive results for global strategic priorities to ensure delivery of end results
- Shared responsibility for identifying automation and standardization opportunities to drive productivity saves and reduce risk
- Ensure Global Payroll SOP and corresponding Process Control Manuals are followed for assigned cluster/countries
- 6-10 years of experience in Global Payroll Operations, Payroll Accounting and/or Employment Tax
- Bachelor’s/University degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to provide evaluative judgment based on analysis
- Strong Leadership skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills

The Payroll Lead Analyst - EMEA Payroll Taxonomy is a strategic professional who has a strong payroll background and experience partnering with external partners including HR Operations, Tax and HR Compensation and Benefits. The Payroll Lead Analyst provides advice and counsel related to payroll operations, accounting and tax. This role has direct impact on global payroll services, which eventually impacts the overall effectiveness of payroll end to end operations.
