- Take full ownership of the US payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing, managing payroll schedules, and designing and implementing compliant and efficient operations.
- Maintain and establish controls in compliance with SOX and internal control policies.
- Calculate and post accruals and month-end journal entries to the company’s accounting system, NetSuite.
- Support with month and quarter-close financial activities.
- Support internal and external audits with various agencies.
- Assist with preparing and filing federal, state, and local taxes, registrations, and reporting requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments, such as AP, Billing, HR, Legal, and FP&A, to ensure smooth operations.
- Research accounting issues and assist with ad hac tasks as needed.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting.
- B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA a plus, but not mandatory.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products required, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements) a must!
- Knowledge of payroll requirements as it relates to processing payroll, federal and state laws, and best practices.
- Experience with ADP TotalSource platform (PEO) and NetSuite ERP software - a plus.
- Accurate and detail-oriented with a high level of analytical and professional skills.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to analyze data to determine whether results are as expected and question discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently to prioritize and successfully complete multiple tasks with strict internal and external deadlines.

We are looking for a talented Assistant Controller to join our US Accounting Team. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the US Controller in daily, monthly, and quarterly activities to ensure accurate and efficient accounting operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
