What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage prevailing wage process, mainly certified payroll reporting, and assist with weekly payroll processes
- Ensure accurate and timely weekly certified payroll process using LCP Tracker, Elations, and DIR website
- Assist Payroll team with weekly payroll process by entering weekly time and attendance
- Set up new hires in payroll and timekeeping systems
- Perform administration functions including filing, uploading union data for union reports, archiving, and record keeping
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a construction company
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to detect data inconsistencies
- High computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new software systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information
- Successful completion of background check process and drug test
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Elations, LCP Tracker, and DIR certified payroll system
- Previous experience working for a construction company with a deep understanding of certified payroll and labor compliance
