What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process and administer biweekly, multi-state payroll for over 2,000 employees using ADP Lyric
- Manage new hire information, tax details, terminations, and garnishments
- Research payroll discrepancies and provide actionable recommendations
- Serve as the main point of contact for payroll inquiries and ensure compliance with payroll best practices
- Conduct routine audits of payroll transactions to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED; preference for candidates with college coursework or a degree in accounting, finance, or business
- 2-4 years of experience processing biweekly, multi-state payroll
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong customer service skills
- Understanding of U.S. payroll laws and regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with ADP payroll systems
- Additional coursework in accounting or finance
- Previous experience in a fast-paced payroll environment
- Familiarity with multi-state tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
