What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and execute the accurate processing of hourly and salaried payrolls for a diverse client base
- Manage and execute government remittances ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Ensure accurate payments for statutory holidays, vacation pay, overtime payments, and terminations
- Produce Record of Employments, T4s, and other government forms
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, addressing client concerns promptly
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with payroll processing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive and solutions-based approach to problem-solving
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and/or Wagepoint considered an asset
- Previous experience in client service with a proactive problem-solving approach
