What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Enter HR actions, including new hires, pay increases, and terminations into HR information systems
- Process termination paperwork and calculate final checks, including severance and vacation payouts
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Review and audit timesheets for accuracy, processing labor adjustments as needed
- Explain and interpret complex payroll information to associates at all levels
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing activities
- Experience with an HRIS/HCM system, preferably Ceridian Dayforce
- Strong understanding of payroll rules and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
- Must possess strong communication skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a multi-state payroll environment
- Advanced spreadsheet skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and V-lookups
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities effectively
