What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and validate timecards for payroll accuracy
- Calculate and process deductions for garnishments, insurance, and tax withholding
- Manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2 and W-2c processing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws related to payroll
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Proficiency in Excel and strong PC skills
- Experience with payroll systems, specifically Ultripro and Kronos
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
