What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage day-to-day payroll maintenance, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll entries and employee setups
- Perform analysis of completed payrolls, troubleshooting data inconsistencies and recommending solutions
- Provide support and training to clients and employees regarding payroll software and general payroll needs
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients to enhance retention rates
- Represent the Engage Team effectively, promoting trust, credibility, and transparency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with large volume multi-state payrolls
- Proficiency in MS Office and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
- Experience in a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with Client Space and PRISM HR software
- Previous experience in a client-facing role within payroll services
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
