What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise payroll team members while processing payroll for client companies
- Resolve payroll issues and interact with client companies regarding payroll inquiries
- Ensure accurate processing of new hires in timekeeping and payroll systems
- Audit payroll payments, including high compensation and bonus payments
- Maintain knowledge of government contract requirements and assist clients with compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in payroll processing, garnishments, and general deductions
- Strong working knowledge of job-costed and certified payrolls
- Proficient skills in MS Excel, Prism HR, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPP certification preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Strong ability to focus on details and maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of state laws concerning payroll and overtime
- Experience with time clock systems
