What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the preparation, processing, calculation, and reconciliation of bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for employees
- Ensure payroll data is accurately reported to federal, state, and local agencies, maintaining compliance with payroll laws and tax regulations
- Collaborate with staff on research and responses to payroll inquiries, including tax notices
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns, including federal, state, and local tax filings
- Act as a liaison with government agencies regarding payroll tax matters

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in payroll or taxation
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a regulatory environment

- Experience with payroll tax compliance across multiple states
- Familiarity with payroll tax software and reporting tools
