      We're looking for a PCT/Medical Scribe to join our Valley Ortho team!

      This is a Part time, remote position working 10 hours per week.

      GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

      1. Medical Documentation & Clinical Assistance:
        • Provides real-time medical documentation for physicians by observing and documenting patient encounters directly into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) during consultations.
        • Assists licensed health care providers and nursing staff with general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, and maintaining medical records.
      2. Operation of EMR & Patient Care Tasks:
        • Manages the EMR system, focusing on the improvement of patient care efficiency related to documentation.
        • Performs patient care tasks according to clinic standards and under the delegation of a registered nurse or licensed health care provider.
      3. Clinical Duties:
        • Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.
        • Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      Education:

      • High School graduate or equivalent.
      • Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or obtained within 3 months of hire.
      • Required to successfully completion of Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHR’s), within 30 days of hire.

      Skills:

      • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
      • Laboratory and/or X-ray experience preferred.

      Experience:

      • Must have been employed for two of the last three years in a health care facility under the supervision of a licensed health care provider

      SALARY RANGE

      • ‎$20.41 to $30.02 /hour
      • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience
