At Peacock you’ll find more than a job. Here you’ll find a fast-paced, high-flying team for unique birds that want to be at the epicenter of technology, sports, news, tv, movies and more. We work hard to connect people to what they love, each other and the world around them by creating shared experiences through culture-defining entertainment.

Adding to the rich history of NBCUniversal, Peacock is able to leverage a vast portfolio that includes broadcast and cable networks, classic and blockbuster films, sports and news. As a company, we embrace the power of difference. Our team is committed to creating an organization that champions diversity and inclusivity for all by curating content and a workforce that represents the world around us.

We continue to challenge ourselves and the industry by being customer-centric, data-driven creatures of innovation. At Peacock, we are determined to forge the next frontier of streaming through creativity, teamwork, and talent. Here you can fly to new heights!

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:

Peacock Platforms Editorial 1: The Platform Editorial group is responsible for curating and programming all the content, collections, events, and user interactions on the Peacock Product. Working in conjunction with the Strategy, Planning, Metadata, and Creative teams, we come up with the curation plan for the platform and enter it into a CMS. The team is currently broken into two sections, one focusing on overall curation of the platform and another focusing on the live events and sports streamed on the platform. The Platform Editorial intern would receive exposure to both teams and have the opportunity to help with exciting projects including the platform curation, metadata optimization, WWE live events, special curation for events like Halloween and New Years, brand hub promotion, and more.

Peacock Platforms Editorial 2: The Editorial Planning team within the Platforms Editorial group is responsible for being the primary liaison between the Editorial group and other teams. Specifically, we ensure our group is aware of other teams’ priorities, focusing on how we can support those priorities while ensuring overarching platform goals and expectations are met.

The Planning team ultimately functions as project managers and subject-matter experts for all content available on the platform while also focusing on developing and growing the working relationships with external teams.

The Editorial Planning intern will have exposure to both our group and other teams through meeting attendance and project inclusion. They will also be witnesses to and active participants in the various Slack channels the Platforms Editorial group uses to discuss and execute daily work, as well as Slack channels run by external teams. We also look for our intern to participate in a semester-long group project in conjunction with other group interns, with the goal of presenting findings to the Platforms Editorial group at the conclusion of the term.
