      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct in-reach visits to educate members about community-based mental health services and supported housing options
      - Maintain a caseload and ensure every person receives a visit prior to reaching 90 days
      - Facilitate face-to-face meetings with members and guardians to assess interest in integrated supported housing
      - Document all Peer Support Specialist activities and track outcomes of in-reach efforts
      - Coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth transitions and address any challenges related to housing

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED
      - 1-2 years of experience working with the mental health and substance use population
      - NC Certified Peer Support Specialist certification
      - Ability to establish respectful relationships with individuals with diverse disabilities
      - Strong communication skills, both oral and written

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of Medicaid and Special Assistance benefits
      - Familiarity with recovery principles and person-centered thinking
      - Experience in assertive engagement and motivational interviewing techniques
      - Ability to work effectively as part of a team under supervision
