What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide advocacy and engagement for Afghan community members with local non-profit agencies and social service partners
- Deliver financial wellness coaching and budget training to Afghan families, utilizing provided curriculum
- Organize and participate in educational opportunities related to financial wellness and social adjustment
- Assist in securing employment and vocational opportunities for Afghan community members
- Collaborate with local programs to ensure comprehensive service delivery to Afghan community members

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-3 years of experience in social work, counseling, or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual communication skills in Pashto and/or Dari
- Proficient in basic math skills for financial wellness activities
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written forms

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience with refugee resettlement and/or humanitarian parole processes
- History of community engagement and community organizing
- Advanced knowledge of social adjustment services
- Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to remain calm during difficult circumstances and emergencies
