What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain HIPAA compliance while working from a distraction-free home office
- Engage with callers over the phone, providing connection and support
- Build rapport and foster client engagement through active listening
- Share available resources and information to assist callers in need
- Remain calm and professional while multitasking to support callers effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification as a Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent
- Accepted certifications include CFPSW, CPSW, and CWF or equivalent
- Current experience as a peer and willingness to acquire additional certification as required
- Availability to work holidays and weekends as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in crisis intervention or peer support roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse individuals
- Familiarity with mental health resources and support services
- Experience working in a structured team environment
- Commitment to personal recovery and ongoing professional development
