What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide peer support to callers over the phone, maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Build rapport and engage with clients seeking support
- Offer relevant resources and information to callers
- Remain calm and professional while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in ongoing meetings, training, and team-building activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent certification
- Current experience as a peer with a commitment to obtaining necessary certifications
- Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed
- Willingness to maintain confidentiality and commitment to personal recovery
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in crisis intervention or peer support roles
- Familiarity with mental health resources and community services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a remote work environment
