What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Engage with callers over the phone, providing peer support and connecting with individuals in need
- Build rapport and foster client engagement through active listening and empathy
- Provide resources and information to callers, ensuring they receive the necessary support
- Maintain professionalism and calmness while multitasking in a structured environment
- Handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification as a Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, or equivalent
- Accepted certifications include CFPSW, CPSW, and CWF or equivalent
- Current experience as a peer and a willingness to acquire certification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Availability to work holidays and weekends as needed
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or peer support roles
- Familiarity with mental health resources and community services
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse individuals
- Commitment to personal recovery and professional development
- Previous experience working in a remote or structured environment
