What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain HIPAA compliance while working from a distraction-free private office space
- Connect with callers over the phone, building rapport and client engagement
- Provide available resources or information needed to callers
- Remain calm and professional while multi-tasking and supporting callers
- Work with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line, offering hope and recovery services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent certification
- Accepted certifications include CFPSW, CPSW, and CWF or equivalent
- Current experience as a peer and willingness to acquire certification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in crisis intervention or peer support roles
- Familiarity with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line or similar services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to personal recovery and continuous growth
- Experience in a structured team environment
