      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

      - Provide non-clinical, evidence-based peer support services to members with mental health and substance use conditions
      - Guide members in creating Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP®)
      - Utilize the 8 dimensions of wellness to help members identify their social determinants of health needs
      - Assist members in establishing and achieving their recovery goals
      - Engage members in traditional and nontraditional health services and supports

      What is Required (Qualifications):

      - Peer Specialist certification as required by the state
      - National Peer Support Credential (NCPS/NCPRSS) within one year of hire
      - Lived experience with mental health/substance use recovery
      - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite
      - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

      - Associates degree
      - Knowledge of local mental health, substance use, and community systems
      - Effective verbal and written communication skills
      - Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
      - CPRS/CPS/CPSS/CRPS/PRSS certification
