Job Description

Support the raising of contracts of employment for external and internal employees
Raising maternity and paternity letters, and SMP Entitlement
Actioning any contractual changes and issuing letters, such as leavers, promotions, change in employment details, etc
Ensuring compliance with GDPR
Raising announcements to the business to communicate changes in your business area’s
Managing HR & Payroll system, ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness in the process
Liaising with internal departments and raising memo’s for additional IT equipment/ benefits associated to the different levels of roles i.e. Mobile phones, Car, Laptop, etc.
Ensuring accurate information regarding cost centres, and org unit changes are obtained.
Processing reference requests
Updating and maintaining HR databases and intranet
Check and update New Starter probationary log and send out relevant paperwork
Produce reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Be computer literate with the ability to us internal HR systems and google suite
You will be able to manage your own time effectively to ensure all of your tasks are completed with excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a personable and motivated People Administrator to join our friendly and hardworking People and Talent HR Team. This role will be based at our Head Office in Smethwick (B66 1BY).
In this role you will report directly to the People Administration Manager to provide a timely and effective administration service to DPD. You will work with a number of areas of the business and also be dealing with both internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

To be successful in this role your CV will demonstrate a strong administration background working within a fast paced environment, it would be advantageous if you had knowledge of the recruitment or HR processes/ practices. This role will require you to work Monday – Friday 9am - 5:30pm
