- Be responsible for the administration and on-going maintenance of the master establishment control database in line with the agreed resourcing processes.
- Ensure that guidance for staff and managers relating to establishment control and recruitment are kept up to date and shared via appropriate methods (e.g. IRIS).
- Ensure the smooth running of the HR office in respect of actioning correspondence, updating calendars, arranging, attending and providing support at meetings, and providing other administrative support to the team.
- Create, maintain and administer HR databases and spread-sheets and IRIS (internal intranet).
- Knowledge of a range of administrative and generalist procedures acquired through relevant training
- Sufficient previous experience in an administration role to confidently carry out a range of administrative tasks
- Advanced IT skills in Word and Excel.
- Ability to use initiative and assess incoming queries/issues to decide the best way to deal with issues and when to refer to colleagues.
- Previous experience of ESR or other HR Management System.
- Knowledge of a range of administrative and generalist procedures acquired through relevant training

This could be an opportunity for you to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours that help provide a comprehensive and effective HR Admin service within.
Working as part of a team you will gain experience in working on a range of HR processes, ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business partners and working with the organisation on HR changes.
