What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct staff orientation and training before the program starts, ensuring compliance with policies
- Manage the overall operation of the residence hall unit and coordinate with instructional staff
- Organize small group activities and foster a welcoming environment for students
- Enforce program behavior guidelines and handle immediate crises as they arise
- Provide ongoing training and support to residential staff throughout the program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be an enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in good standing for Summer or Fall 2026 classes
- Demonstrated group leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in teams
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student body and staff
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, with high maturity levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior residential or student affairs experience
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Bi- or multilingual, with international travel or living abroad experience
- Previous experience working with high school students in roles such as RA, camp counselor, or tutor
- Previous supervisory experience
