Job Description

- An instructor team (co-instructors) will teach the TEEMS program. As per previous work, the intervention co-instructors consist of a team of a rehabilitation clinician (e.g. physical or occupational therapist) and a study team member with SCI lived experience.
- All instructors listed below have previously taught TEEMS during our non-randomized single group trial. As such, all instructors will undergo refresher training during the project period by Dr. Baehr.
- The instructors will be responsible for study team meetings and check-ins as needed with both Dr. Baehr, preparing for and leading TEEMS exercise classes, and intervention group communications coordinating with Project Coordinator B.
- Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience
- Typically sitting at a desk/table

Job Summary

As such, all instructors will undergo refresher training during the project period by Dr. Baehr. Each intervention co-instructor will be compensated $50/hour in alignment with previous payment structure in preliminary projects, with an estimated 40-45 hours expected annually across the project period based on our previous work

This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
