      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide expert advice and guidance on performance management to departmental management
      - Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while addressing personnel-related matters
      - Investigate and write formal disciplinary actions as needed
      - Conduct interactive training sessions for DMV management statewide
      - Collaborate with various levels of management to identify innovative solutions to performance issues

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must possess a valid California driver's license
      - Experience in human resources or performance management
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations
      - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
      - Knowledge of California state laws and regulations related to human resources

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with the California Department of Human Resources and State Personnel Board procedures
      - Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workloads
      - Strong interpersonal skills with experience in diverse team settings
      - Detail-oriented with a focus on critical thinking and analysis
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
