      Description

      Job Purpose: As part of GSM's Marketing and E-commerce team, the Performance Marketing Specialist will work closely with other marketing team members and various internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement best-practice marketing, merchandising strategies and paid media tactics to drive direct to consumer traffic, awareness, and increase revenue for a set of GSM brands and websites.

      Summary of Essential Job Duties:
      • Execute paid social media campaigns in Meta and other social channels
      • Optimize paid social campaigns to maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
      • Develop high-level social strategy, leverage social across platforms and integrate social media into multi-channel marketing strategies
      • Lead the creation of social ads (static and video), including ad copy, that resonate with outdoor enthusiasts and drive engagement.
      • Monitor campaign performance daily, identifying opportunities and addressing challenges to maintain efficiency and ROI.
      • Create reporting dashbaords using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and internal reporting platforms.
      • Analyze industry trends, competitor campaigns, and seasonal outdoor activity patterns to inform marketing strategies.
      • Traffic text, display and video ads for multiple brands and platforms
      • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and best practice.
      • Suggest website enhancements to enhance product selling.
      • Suggest product promotions to maximize product sell through based on performance marketing data.

      • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
      • Knowledge of or previous experience in the Hunting, Fishing and Outdoors industry is an asset. ???

      Required Education and Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
      • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
