What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative support to the Permitting, Planning, and Budget section manager and staff
- Develop, update, and implement administrative processes and manuals
- Maintain calendars, prioritize meeting requests, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes
- Provide backup coverage and support to other administrative staff as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A total of 4 years of experience and/or education in clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative office work
- High School Diploma or GED or college credits towards a degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely allied field
- Must meet U.S. Department of Energy requirements for access to the Hanford Site
- Strong skills in using office equipment and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to format and edit documents according to established standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of experience providing administrative support to a manager and multiple staff
- Skill in formatting and editing documents to meet specific formatting and grammar standards
