- This is a full-time, permanent position.
- This position is based at our headquarters office in Tigard, Oregon, however, the successful candidate will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
- This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified applicants to fill the current vacancy and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.
- This is a management services position and is not represented by a union.

The Public Employees Retirement System is recruiting for a PERS Health Insurance Program Manager (Business Operations Manager 2).
We serve the people of Oregon by administering public employee benefit trusts to pay the right person, the right benefit, at the right time.
What you will be doing :
The PERS Health Insurance Program Manager will administer the optional post-retirement medical and dental health insurance plan benefit for retired members. This position is directly responsible for the contractual oversight of the contacted health care providers, record keeping services of a third-party administrator and a consultant. Oversight of the financial administration of the program, including the administrative fees, reserve accounts and cost allocation. This position develops and manages program goals, tactical plans and operational procedures that are in overall alignment with the PERS Strategic Plan

Minimum Qualifications Required:
PERS Health Insurance Program Manager (Business Operations Manager 2)
Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience;
OR
Three years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
