      Appointment Basis: Permanent

      Salary: £40,000PA

      Shifts: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

      Could you be the full-time Personal Assistant in Derby we’re looking for?

      Your future role

      Provide a PA service in order to organise the working day of the SER Director UK&I and UK&I Bids and Tenders Director. To provide support to the wider SER/Bid team as required including Preparing Presentations, Bid and Proposals related activity (writing/reviewing/organisational support) or ad-hoc SER/RSC project tasks.

      Responsibilities

      • Diary management – effectively organise, ensuring that day runs smoothly (to plan). Organisation of travel, accommodation (cost management of) appointments and meetings.
      • Manage holiday charts and weekly movements for the SER and Bids and Tenders senior teams.
      • Mail (post and e-mail) – vet, delegate and reply if necessary on Directors behalf. Manage in entirety in his absence. Also highlight issues to Directors if necessary.
      • Manage the office – reception of visitors, room allocation, invoices, lunches, workshops (on and off site) office supplies etc, Health and Safety etc.
      • Assisting the Directors in the Management of monthly reporting requirements including designing and gathering of inputs.
      • Support Bid and SER Managers if required during the Bid and Proposal stage of the Tender Process. This will include formatting and reviewing documentation and liasing with authors to optimise Bid quality and messaging.
      • Creating PowerPoint presentations.

      About you

      • Experience of working Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to a high level including the ability to format and work within both, to a high standard.
      • 2-5 years experience in PA or Office management. Experience of working within a team and developing relationships to deliver agreed outcomes.
