      East Penn is currently seeking an Wage and Salary Assistant within our Human Resources department. With this position comes growth opportunities in a family orientated company culture.

      Responsibilities

      Calculate bonus rates using provided parameters.

      Coordinate collection and preparation of production reports.

      Assist in the training of plant administrative staff when Employee Incentive Calcution Sysitem (EICS) is implemented into a department and communicate any changes to the EICS application.

      Serve as a contact person to address any user questions (data entry, reporting, etc.).

      Verify typed forms or reports for neatness, spelling, and punctuation.

      Review source documents, such as production reports to determine computer operations required to produce reports in format requested.

      Examine and evaluate format and function of production reports to develop new or modify existing forms.

      Design, draft, or prepare finished master copy for new or modified form using Excel, DataBase, or Word.

      Compile and enter data from source documents into the computer for use in maintaining Compensation records.

      Perform other duties necessary for completing payroll on time.

      Run reports from a Management Reporting system (MSR) and EICS to analyze the data to ensure the information is accurate.

      Occasionally will have to analyze data to obtain information for a specific project.

      File records and reports.

      Copy documents, using office-duplicating equipment.

      Perform other duties as requested

      Qualifications

      Personal computer skills (Excel, Word, and DataBase).

      Strong communication skills. Well organized and detailed oriented.

      Proficient in spelling and grammar, ability to use office equipment such as: Laser printer, calculator, Fax machine, shredder, and a copier.

      General math skill (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing).

      Familiarity with office procedures.

      Must be able to work independently and perform multiple tasks at the same time.
